ACTION RESEARCH:
Action research is undertaken to solve immediate,specific
and practical problem that is under our control. 

Action research is a process of systematic reflection , has the potential to generate genius and sustained
improvement in schools. 

Definition 
Action Research is a process where in participants examine their
own educational practice systematically and carefully using
techniques of research. 
Problem
Unclear basic terms of accountancy.

Unclear basic terms of accountancy among students of standard 11th.

Characteristic of action research:
1.Its primary goal list is to improve teaching and learning in
schools and classrooms and its conducted during the
process of regular classroom teaching.’

2.It can be carried out by a an individual teacher or in
collaboration with other teacher.


Probable Causes
The possible causes concerning the problem can be listed as under:-
1.Students entered in the field of commerce stream without interest.
2. Students are only interested in calculation in accountancy.
3.Students feels accountancy as monotonous subject.
4.Students don't find basic terms of accountancy useful in practical life.
5.Due to irrelevant teaching methodology.
6.Students are not interested in gaining bookish knowledge/textbook knowledge.
7.Inappropriate teaching learning process in the classroom.
8.Students are inattentive,while teacher is teaching in the class.
9.Lack of interaction between teacher and students.
10.Proper feedback is  not taken ,after the terms are taught.
11.Students are only interested learning through PPT.
 Solutions
1.Proper guidance should be given to the students before choosing the stream.
2.Teacher should make them aware about the basic terms that are useful in practical life.
3.Teacher should make classroom teaching interesting while teaching the theory of accountancy.
4.Teacher should  use appropriate method of teaching.
5.Continue feedback should be taken by teacher till the concept is not clear among the students.
6.In certain case,various teaching aids can also be used by the teachers.
7.In modern era, teacher should also adopt new or modern techniques of  teaching which can also increase the curiosity level among the students. Eg. Explaining the concepts through PPT.

Hypothesis
1st cause-.Students entered in the field of commerce stream without interest.
If,proper guidance regarding choosing field is given in advance to the students then they must take interest in their concerned subjects and their  base must gets clear.

2nd cause - Students feels accountancy as monotonous subject.

If,teacher makes the learning concepts interesting  and connect them with real life , then students will learn easily.

3rd cause-Students are not interested in gaining bookish knowledge/textbook knowledge.

If students are not interested in learning new concepts with help of books then teacher should explore the concepts with the help of ppt and various other ways  of teaching.

4th cause - Students are inattentive,while teacher is teaching in the class.

If, teacher plays an active role while teaching and monitors each and every student by questioning then students will remain attentive in the classroom.

5th cause - Students are only interested learning through PPT.
If, teacher use the modern technology of teaching with pictures and examples, then their base gets clear in the subject matter.
